Dear Kindergarten Parents,
This week we will be exploring a new app, MoMA Art Lab, from the Museum of Modern Art. Students will create and design illustrations using geometric shapes. They will also learn about several modern artists and their techniques and will apply these techniques to creations of their own. This is a free app; however, there is a paid version with more features.
Enjoy!

Hi Parents!
Over the last several weeks, we have been learning to use the camera app on the iPad. We have had fun taking pictures of interesting things in the library and of each other! Now we are investigating a new app, colAR Mix, that allows us to experience augmented reality (AR). It is quite an experience! You can "Print, color and see your drawing in beautifully hand-animated 3D worlds!" (from iTunes).

Hi Kindergarten Parents!
We have finished our last keyboarding app called iTyper. We are moving on to an app that gets our creative juices flowing. It is called Drawing Pad. The students had their first experience with it today and were most excited about all of the tools with rainbow colors!
